I just went through the Manus AI onboarding, and it reminded me why great product experiences are also great leadership lessons.
Three Lessons
1. Reduce Cognitive Load
The best AI interfaces don't show you
everything. They show you what you need, when you need it. Leadership is the same—don't overwhelm your
team with context. Give them what they need to make the next decision.
2. Make the First Win Easy
Manus gets you to success fast. You feel
competent within minutes. Leaders should do the same—design early wins that build confidence before
tackling complexity.
3. Trust Through Transparency
The best AI tools explain their reasoning.
They don't hide behind black boxes. Leaders who share the "why" behind decisions build teams that can
think independently.

AI is teaching us what good leadership looks like: reduce friction, accelerate understanding, build trust through clarity.
